I love Mario. An individual who stays true to himself, and true to the simple, elegant dishes he creates. I bought "Molto Italiano" last month, and it's the very first cookbook I read from cover to cover, over the course of a day, and sat mesmerized by the rich simplicity of his beautifully rustic recipes. Molto Brava!

The Bourdain, he is most correct! The Mario is magnificent! Silly, serious, crazy- whatever the mode he is in at the moment, he is always delightful. The Nascar thing disturbed me a bit, but he is actually good for the world- the love of the ingredients, his desire that good food be for all not just a few, coupled with the joy and abandon he brings to the kitchen is delightful to watch.
